my teaser trailer ‘the stalker’ – final edit.

overall i am fairly satisified with the final outcome of my trailer, and have completed what i had orginally set out to do, to create a effective and believable trailer.i am most pleased with the non -diegtic sound of the heartbeat, and when it suddenly cuts and stops near the end, and then returns during the quick shot of the hand reaching out when in colour, i feel that this is a effective ending to my trailer, i feel that it is succesful in encouraging the audience in wanting to see more, therefore the movie. i also like the fact that its in black and white, i feel that this blends well with the rest of the ambience of my trailer, what with the alleyway as location, the camera shots of the wall and the hand reaching out, it all looks far more believable and realistic in black and white. if i had more time and was more orgainised maybe i could have improved the overall quality of my trailer, however in the time i did it in i feel that i did well enough.

  1. Level 3 – D/E
Very simple but just about works. Very minimal evidence of editing skills but unsteady camera just about works for this genre….Try to introduce greater variety in terms of of camera shots and try to add a level of subtlety and complexity…
