script plan.
1st Scene – to start with i will have a slide or writing, which will bore ‘do you ever feel like..’ the background will be black to help create a sense of danger etc..the writing will be in white to help it really stand out amongst the black. the elipsis at the end helps give off the impression that theres more to be said in the trailer, creating a sense of anticipation. it will only durate around 2-3 seconds, long enough for people to be able to read it but not so long that it becomes boring.
2nd Scene – First shown bit of filming. will begin with a close up of a boy -with his back to us – on his mobile phone, and giving the impression that the shot is a over-the-shoulder shot the frame will get bigger, showing more of the boy and giving the impression that the person we cant see is stepping back. this shot will durate around 3-4 seconds, as time goes on during the trailer the shots durate shorter to help create suspense and anticipation.
3rd Scene – next shot is very similar to the first shot, same background, same font..only it now says ‘Something…’ , following on from the previous sentance, the ellipsis is again used to show that the sentance is not yet finished, resulting in excitment from the viewer.
4th Scene- Next shot we go back to the boy in the alleyway, the person contiunes to step back until all we see is a wall..this hopefully gives the viewer the impression that the person we cannot see is spying on the boy. this shot goes right into the next shot.. we now see the boy walking down the alleyway, the camera is still a -over-the-shoulder shot to demostrate that the person is still following the boy.
5th Scene - again some writing, same as before but writing this time says ‘is watching you?’ question mark is used to demostrate to the audience that it is a rhetorical question.. no more ellipsis to show that this is the final sentance.
6th Scene - shot is returned to the boy walking down the alley. the hand held camera starts jerking and shaking to show that the person is running, to help quicken things up and hopefully create excitment amongst the viewer. just before the shot ends a hand reaches out infront of the camera and reaches for the boy, giving the impression that the hand belongs to the person stalking him. the red nail varnish and ring makes it obvious that its a woman stalking him, hopefully creating some intriguity amongst the audience.
7th Scene - again a shot of writing, same background but with different larger font, as its the title of the film, therefore i want it to stand out amongst the previous writing. this will durate 2-3 seconds and will follow with a simular slide saying ‘coming 2010′
8th Scene – last shot is very quick, only lasts 0-1 seconds, its a quick snapshot of the previous scene, where the hand is closer to the boy, i made it very fast to create more anticipation and hopefully it will be the shot to encourage people to watch the movie.
If everything goes as planned hopefully my trailer will last around 20- 30 seconds , which fits perfectly with the norm duration of a teaser trailer. there will be no -non diegtic sounds such as music and such, there will only be non diegtic of some sound effects of a heartbeat, i feel this creates more suspense and a vibe of eeriness.

Good to see a more detailed plan emerging. However, would like to see much more information on how you are going to turn this plan into action. When are you shooting? How many shoots do you have planned? What’s your own timeline between now and Christmas? Also, you should be trying to add much more in the way of location shots, storyboards etc
i am hoping to start filming soon, its just been difficult to find a day that everybody is available for. i am currently doing work on my storyboard and location shots also.
